Ana Balboa’s work explores the intersection between art, craftsmanship, and design. With a background in Journalism and Fashion Design, she has developed a solid foundation in storytelling and communication, which she integrates into her artistic practice to bring depth and structure to her creations.

Her work is deeply influenced by themes such as mental processes, immersion in nature, the world of dreams and the unreal, and female vulnerability. These ideas converge in her continuous exploration of the influence of the subconscious on creative practice and the duality between body and mind.
Ana combines traditional methods with a contemporary artistic vision, embracing artisanal techniques such as embroidery and ceramics. Her work rescues and reinterprets the value of craftsmanship, creating pieces that invite reflection on luxury as an emotional rather than material experience.

In addition to her work with textiles, Ana focuses her practice on drawing, a key tool for structuring her work and a vehicle that allows her to instantly express her inner world.
